The Gallery
Stitt Gallery grew out of Joanna Stitt’s lifelong passion for antiques and collecting. What began as a collector’s eye became, over more than twenty years, a dealing practice in its own right — known first as Antyki Poznań and Galeria Antyki i Sztuka JAS, serving collectors across Poland and Europe, and now refined into Stitt Gallery.
Under Joanna’s direction, the gallery is a curated destination for authenticated 19th- and 20th-century antiques. We specialise in French furniture, Asian art, European bronzes, and design objects — each piece selected for its authenticity, condition, and provenance.
The collection is not volume-driven. Pieces are acquired and released selectively, on quality, proportion and character rather than quantity — European antiques sourced primarily from France, alongside selected pieces from across Europe, with Asian holdings focused particularly on Chinese decorative art and sculpture. For significant pieces we prepare full technical documentation — measured drawings, a photographic record, material analysis and provenance research where available — so the paperwork travels with the sale and supports both the buyer’s confidence and the piece’s long-term value.
