Stitt Gallery is a Poznań-based gallery offering curated antiques from Europe and Asia. We specialise in European furniture — with particular depth in French antiques — alongside Chinese and Asian decorative art.
The collection encompasses commodes, tables, cabinets, mirrors, antique lighting, vases, Buddha figures, decorative objects and works of art. Every piece is individually selected for quality of making, authenticity and enduring aesthetic value.

A significant part of our work is with professional clients — people who need pieces that are right for a specific room, period, atmosphere or brief. We understand those requirements and work to meet them.
We work with interior designers sourcing pieces to specification — period, scale, material, provenance. Whether a single hero piece or furnishing an entire room to a brief, we can advise, reserve and hold items while projects develop.

Viewing by appointment.We have supplied antique furniture and decorative objects for film and television productions, working with directors and set decorators to dress rooms to period specification and atmosphere. Our breadth of European and Asian stock makes us a practical resource for production sourcing.
Period briefs handled with discretion and speed.Objects from the collection have featured in editorial shoots and magazine styling. We understand the requirements of prop styling — availability, condition, photogenic quality — and can accommodate short-term access alongside sale.

Joanna Stitt leads the gallery with over twenty years of experience dealing in European and Asian antiques. Her eye for quality, proportion and period authenticity has built a client base spanning private collectors, interior designers, film productions and international buyers.
Galeria prowadzona jest przez Joannę Stitt i kontynuuje działalność wcześniej prowadzoną jako Antyki Poznań oraz Antyki i Sztuka JAS, rozwijając ją w kierunku bardziej selektywnego i międzynarodowego podejścia do kolekcji.
Our Approach
Every piece entering the collection is assessed individually — for quality of construction, condition, period consistency and aesthetic merit. We do not buy in volume. The collection is deliberately selective, favouring depth over breadth.
European antiques are sourced primarily from France, with pieces also acquired from across continental Europe. Asian works are sourced from specialist dealers and estates, with particular focus on Chinese decorative art and Buddhist sculpture.
For significant pieces, full technical documentation is prepared — measured drawings, photographic record, material analysis and provenance research where available. This documentation travels with the sale and supports both the buyer's confidence and the long-term value of the piece.
Pieces are priced on application. We welcome detailed enquiries from collectors, trade buyers and institutions. Viewing is by appointment at our Poznań gallery. Shipping across Europe and internationally arranged on request.
